Account, security and billing

How do I secure my Lynks account?

The first line of defense is a long, unique password that you don't reuse anywhere else. A password manager lets you have a different one for every service without having to memorize them.

Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) if it's available on your account: even if someone guesses your password, they'll be missing the second factor (a temporary code) to get in. It's the single change that does the most against account takeovers.

At sign-up, Lynks already checks new accounts (bot detection, blocking disposable email addresses, email confirmation) to limit fake accounts and spam. That protects the whole community, not just your account.

If you notice activity you don't recognize, change your password right away and contact support. Better one alert too many than a compromised account.
